Bio:
Prior to joining BayCare's Green Bay Eye Clinic in 2002, Dr.
Bordewick worked at the Marshfield Clinic Department of
Ophthalmology in Wausau, Wisconsin, and at the University of Iowa
Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, serving in both the
departments of Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. As a medical
resident, Dr. Bordewick served as a volunteer at the Free Medical
Clinic. While in medical school, she served as committee member in
the Office of Research and Medical Education and was an Elementary
Outreach Volunteer in Substance Abuse. Dr. Bordewick returned to
the Midwest because this is where she wished to practice medicine
and raise her family.
Dr. Bordewick completed her BA (Biology and Chemistry minor),
graduating Magna Cum Laude at the University of Delaware in Newark,
and her Medical Degree was obtained at the University of Iowa
College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. Her internship was
conducted at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics -
Department of Internal Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, and her
Ophthalmology Residency was completed at the University of Iowa
Hospital and Clinics - Department of Ophthalmology in Iowa City,
Iowa.
As a refractive surgeon, Dr. Bordewick appreciates being able to
make a difference in so many lives by restoring a high level of
visual freedom to her patients. Her professional and comfortable
rapport with her patients gives them confidence to refer family and
friends to her.
