no one thought I would ever celebrate my "29th"
again. That day, thanks to ALL of you will be Saturday.
Each day is a gift! When I count my blessings you are all a part of
them. Enjoy the birthday treat and thanks for making my
"80th" celebration possible.
Dr. Roitstein and team: A long overdue note to thank you
all for the great care you all took of me. I really haven't had and
still don't have the words to tell you how much I appreciate all
you did. So simply, but sincerely "thank you". As you all
said in a few months you'll be back to yourself and better.
You were right! I'm back doing everything and enjoying
life.
Dear Dr Roitstein:
The Wednesday my daughter and I met with you was the most feared
appointment I've had. I prayed a lot that after we talked I
would know somehow that you were the doctor to trust in.
I haven't lived a sheltered life. In my twenties I drove
tractor-trailer nationwide and at 29 I joined the Army for four
years. I have a love for all kinds of people.
Not knowing a thing about you, I just wanted to be able to
understand you and see something in your eyes to tell me your heart
was bigger than your schedule.
We left your office that day smiling at each other. You are one
of the many blessings God has given me. I want to say "thank
you" for the whole package.
Thank you for not judging me, your honesty, the surgery, all the
hospital visits, not being upset with my worries and the reassuring
care that you gave me. Thank you for the 2nd birthday
you gave me. I will never forget you.
