Emergency Medicine

BayCare Clinic Emergency Physicians staff the emergency departments and urgent medical care facilities at Aurora BayCare Medical Center and other Aurora Hospitals and Aurora Health Centers throughout the region.

Excellence in Emergency Care

Our emergency physicians staff Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a certified level two trauma center and the first U.S. hospital to be verified as an Emergency Center of Excellence.  Patients see an emergency physician in an average of 15 minutes of arrival, far lower than the national average of 46 minutes. We're setting the bar for emergency care in Northeast Wisconsin.

All patients are seen by board-certified or board-eligible emergency physicians (who have undergone extensive training in emergency medical services), supported by the technology and services of Aurora BayCare Medical Center.  They provide comprehensive care for everything from minor illnesses and accidents to major, life-threatening conditions.  And if necessary, they have immediate access to highly accomplished trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons and cardiologists.

When You Need Urgent Medical Care

BayCare Clinic emergency physicians provide medical services to patients throughout northeast Wisconsin at a number of regional emergency medical centers and urgent care centers.  BayCare Clinic employs more than 25 emergency physicians and experienced mid-level practitioners.

We enjoy a well-earned reputation for providing quality, compassionate care.
